Farewell of Khen Rinpoche la Tashi Tsering

This year marks a significant yet bittersweet transition as we bid farewell to our esteemed former 91st Abbot and Chairman, Khen Rinpoche Tashi Tsering La, of Sera Mey Monastic University and Sermey Thoesam School. After six years of dedicated and compassionate service, we gathered on September 12, 2024, in the school hall—a space that flourished under his guidance and hard work. During this heartfelt farewell, we expressed our gratitude with a token of  appreciation, honoring his invaluable contributions and blessings that have greatly enhanced our school’s facilities and framework.
Under Khen Rinpoche’s visionary leadership, students at Sermey Thoesam School were afforded the remarkable opportunity to pursue their education through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), a significant milestone for our institution. To commemorate this important occasion, we celebrated the achievements of our first-ever NIOS batch for the 2023-2024 academic year by distributing prizes and certificates to the students in attendance. This event not only highlighted the impact of Khen Rinpoche’s guidance but also inspired our students to continue striving for excellence in their educational journeys.

To our esteemed former abbot, Khen Rinpoche Tashi Tsering La, we offer our heartfelt thanks and best wishes.                                                                                                                                                                   May your path be blessed with continued success, fulfillment, and the opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of others. Thank you!
