– Facilitate a place of learning for a holistic personal development for very young boys from very poor and economically marginalized families from Tibetan and Tibetan ethnicity families of the Himalayan region

– Provide 100% free elementary schooling in the subjects of  English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Tibetan language & history, Computer, Tibetan & English Calligraphy and EVS.

– Facilitate a total in-house care for their emotional, social and physical  development for achieving  full potential as monastic schools in the Nalanda Tradition of Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy.

– Commit to  sustain, preserve and further the scholarly achievements of the successive great masters of the 600 year old Sera Mey Monastery.

– To guide and nurture  them in traditional monastic studies of the Buddhist root texts and their treatises that the young monks will study by way of recitation, memorization and later by way of dialectical method when they join Sera Mey Monastery as full time monks (after completing class VIII at the School)
